Dips and the Super Bowl go together like peanut butter and jelly. I can picture it now: I’m glued to the couch with a plethora of dips in front of me. Absolute perfection. In honor of my love for dips and football, here are some of my favorite dips in Augusta that you need to order right now.

Tako Sushi Green Chile Queso Dip, Add Chorizo

Say it with me: add chorizo. Remember this, because your green chile queso with chorizo will be out of this world. This queso is rich, creamy, and well balanced with a little kick. It’s the perfect pre-game to the sushi roll you’re about to devour.

Laziza Hummus

Hummus is so versatile with its pairings. The opportunities are endless. Laziza offers multiple flavors to choose from – jalapeño, garlic, and roasted red pepper. My go-to is usually jalapeño because I’m a sucker for spice. You can order as a side with your meal, or purchase a to-go container at the register.

Finch and Fifth Vidalia Onion Dip

I could eat this every day. It’s creamy, flavorful, and everything delicious. The dip is served with crispy wontons, and they are the perfect compliment. I order this every time I go. I’m confident this will become one of your top appetizers.

I’ve always been a guacamole girl, but this changed my life. Guacamole Casero is like the Pico de Gallo of guacs. Its chunky consistency is a lighter, fresher take that’s perfect on a warm day while dining outside on the Rio patio. Enjoy it with chips or virtually any dish on the menu. It also pairs exceptionally well with a frozen marg.

This one checks two boxes for me: spicy and cheese. This dip is a must-order appetizer when visiting the Larder, and I can guarantee it will start your meal off right. The dip is served with the perfect carrying device, pita bread.

Whiskey Bar Buffalo Chicken Dip

Buffalo dip is the perfect companion for a football game. I’ve had a wide range of Buffalo dips in my life, especially the go-to crockpot recipe people swear by on Pinterest. Whiskey Bar’s Buffalo Chicken Dip gives you all comfort food dip feels without getting out the crockpot. I’ll have seconds, please.

Ironwood Tavern Crust Dippers

This one is something you really don’t know you need until you try it. Whoever came up with the idea of creating dips for the crust of your pizza is a genius. Crust deserves love too! I order the beer cheese dipper with my margarita pizza and it’s glorious. Usually, a deep sadness comes over me when my slice of Za is almost done, but this dipper is an added bonus at the end of a slice.
